Formed in 2006 in association with the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to encourage and cultivate relationships between the future business and community leaders of Greater Portland. PROPEL is a division of the Portland Regional Chamber. Therefore, if you or your company are Chamber members, congratulations, you get a free PROPEL membership! If not, you can join PROPEL for a low annual fee of $35. To become a member, please visit our Join PROPEL page and fill out the application. PROPEL began in 2006 as a collaborative effort between a small group of young professionals in Greater Portland and the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce. Their common interest was to develop an organization that would cultivate and foster the interests and careers of young business leaders in Greater Portland. Over time, an executive board committee was created and PROPEL was born. Today, our organization continues to grow and adapt as we explore new and exciting ways to further our mission.
